Munich Side Track: Garden of Neues Schloss

    View this post on Instagram

After visiting the Aviation Museum in rural Munich, we decided to detour to Neues Schloss (literally meaning New Castle) to take a look. . The compounds was massive and deserted as the museum was closed. We had the whole palace garden to ourselves, as though we stumbled upon a post-apocalyptic European town. . The wind was gentle, but the chill was biting through our coats and gnawing at our bones. Everytime I took my camera out to take a picture, I had to remove my gloves in order to feel the button, so every snap of the place was a result of enduring numbing cold that spread from the digits up my arm and throughout my body. . When I declared that I could not take the cold anymore (I am rarely cold), I was devastated at the lengths of the garden we had covered (and had to back track). This was the route back to civilisation. This embodies the beauty and pain I was going through at that point of time. . . zenovyap.com . . 📷 #OlympusUK #livelifelove #travel #vacation #holiday #travelogue #Snapseed #Munich #Germany #Bavaria #visitbavaria #munich_germany #igersmunich #germanytourism #roadlesstraveled #explorers #winterstyle #palace #travelawesome #citiesamaze #europetravel #DeutschesMuseum #deutsche #museum #skyline #cityscape #cloudysky #instatravel #travelgram #instasg
