People who know Hallstatt recognises it by the classic village views, which has to be seen from the edge or from the water. No one really wants to go there to walk the streets (hidden between the streets in between the building you see on postcards), or to eat over there.
Most importantly, it gets ridiculously expensive to stay there.
Where then, do we stay when visiting Hallstatt?

When I planned for my year-end trip to tour Christmas markets, I was concerned about 2 things: Capturing the beauty of the Christmas markets in low light, and having a camera that would work in the cold.
My first instinct turned to the Olympus Tough series.
London~ The mention of it conjures an overwhelming sense of exhilaration. There’s the food, the culture, architecture oozing with old world charm… Everything nice comes with a hefty price tag, London included. A typical night’s stay at the city centre can easily set a traveler back with at least SGD150.
And the currency drop following Brexit did not help.
