Am I an aviation geek? I doubt so. I don’t follow up or research on the aviation sector like the stereotypical avgeek. However, I know more about the airline industry than the average folks, because I like and enjoy talking about and experiencing services in this area!
I think getting a bohemoth of an airplane off the ground is an engineering marvel. The fine example of Changi Airport, which smashed the stereotype of an airport by being a lifestyle destination rather than a sterile place to catch planes, is also awe inspiring. This is why I always hang out at the airport before I started working, and gave excuses for myself to travel around when I started making money 😛
