Nobody expects a 5-star service upon hearing “Holiday Inn Express, yet we felt like we were in one, when we stayed in Holiday Inn Express Munich City West!
Hotel ibis Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof: Value on City Fringe
Hotel ibis became the top choice in preliminary search. The struggle was whether to pay SGD 20 more for the version of the hotel that is a few blocks closer to the old town (in fact, it was inside the old town).
I chose the latter.
Best Supporting Tourist Spot: Obertraun
People who know Hallstatt recognises it by the classic village views, which has to be seen from the edge or from the water. No one really wants to go there to walk the streets (hidden between the streets in between the building you see on postcards), or to eat over there.
Most importantly, it gets ridiculously expensive to stay there.
Where then, do we stay when visiting Hallstatt?
A Cut Above The No-Frills: hub by Premier Inn London Tower Bridge Hotel [Review]
London~ The mention of it conjures an overwhelming sense of exhilaration. There’s the food, the culture, architecture oozing with old world charm… Everything nice comes with a hefty price tag, London included. A typical night’s stay at the city centre can easily set a traveler back with at least SGD150.
And the currency drop following Brexit did not help.
