The solar maximum of 2024/2025 made for superb opportunities to catch the aurora in its full glory. So to Tromsø – aurora capital of the world – I went, to chase the northern lights.
Our final day in Iceland took us to the breathtaking Snæfellsjökull Peninsula. We visited the iconic Kirkjufell mountain, volcanic landscapes of Djúpalónssandur Beach and historic Arnarstapi village.
Day 6 of our Iceland adventure took us on a journey to conquer the dormant volcano, Grábrók. Explore the charming town of Borgarnes, visit the Snorrastofa Museum, and experience the unique Icelandic horse farms.
