Many people go to Hokkaido in summer for the lavender fields. So, yes, Furano we shall go! p/s: There are also sunflower fields too!
A picnic in the mountains, anyone? And then onsen after dinner! All the while soaking in the wonder of nature at Sounkyo Gorge.
If you are a ramen lover, you should visit Asahikawa! There’s even a ramen village over there! On the way, pop by the Sunflower Farm in Hokuryu!
Otaru is just an hour’s ride from Sapporo, and offers quaint scenery that’s attractive both in winter and in summer! p/s: There’s plenty of seafood too!
